Check the salary floor before applying
In Europe, being under the salary floor is an immigration rejection, not a hiring rejection. Current floors: Germany €45,934.20 a year for shortage occupations (IT qualifies, and IT specialists without a degree can use it), Netherlands €5,942 a month at 30 or older, Ireland €40,904, Sweden 90% of the median salary since 1 June 2026. Country-by-country detail is in Relocating as a senior Vietnamese IT engineer.
